Tiny little Boots

I think I have thought about writing this post for months, but it's probably been something I have wanted to write my whole life. As a very small child, I loved my baby dolls more than anything and then as I grew up, I loved babysitting and knew from a very young age that I always wanted to be a mother. Well, it finally seems that will actually happen! Yep, we are having a baby!! woo hoo! We are beyond thrilled and feel incredibly blessed! Aug 2nd is our due date for the newest cowboy/cowgirl to join our family. And, in true Bilton style, he or she HAD to have a first pair of cowboy boots!!

We were fortunate enough to have our amazing wedding photographer, Drew Newman in Dallas to shoot Katherine's bridal portraits just when we needed him. He was able to squeeze in a quick 20 minute photo shoot with us while the bride was taking a quick break. Drew is absolutely fantastic and it was so fun to capture this life event with him also.

We had a rough first 6 weeks with some complications so we waited until the 12 week mark to share the exciting news with friends, but now we are so exited to begin preparing for the newest little Bilton! Should be a fun, exciting 2013! Guess I have another topic to blog about since construction is complete! :)
